If your priest isn't aware of their existence, you should avoid his advice. * Note: in this 1582 (completed in 1609) Douai-Rheims, the 3rd and 4th Book of Esdras are placed in between the Old and New Testaments. This is different from the Canonical Catholic Latin Vulgates where these books are found at the end, following John's Apocalypse or what Protestants call it: the Book of Revelation.
