The primary purpose of this web site is to educate. We wish to compare and contrast the Catholic Church and the Catholic Faith with the new religion ("Novus Ordo" -- see below) instituted after the supposed election of Cardinal Angelo Roncalli as "Pope" John XXIII in 1958 and his disastrous Second Vatican Council (aka "Vatican II" - 1962-65). We are confident that our web site provides sufficient documentation, esp. at the continually-updated News & Archive page, to prove that since the death of the last known Pope, Pius XII (1939-58), the apparent Catholic establishment in the Vatican has been run by anti-Catholic infiltrators who have done everything in their power to destroy the Catholic Faith and cause scandal and impiety among the faithful, all under the guise of a "Great Renewal" of the Faith and ad nauseam references to a supposed "New Springtime" of Catholicism. The truth, however, is quite the opposite. This web site is dedicated to pointing out that truth.

Approximately 95% of the documents on the site were originally found on the Catholic Resource Network (CRNET) which later became EWTN Online Services aka EWTN.com. Trinity Communications was the owner of CRNET and has Petersnet (which is now called 'Catholic Culture'). Confused yet?
At some point in time, Petersnet gave permission to an individual in Australia, who operated a website called "St. Michael's Depot", to post the various Church documents which were originally found on CRNET. Most of the encyclicals on this site were scanned by CRNET from the 5 volume set, “The Papal Encyclicals 1740-1981” published by Pierian Press. For several years, St. Michael's Depot included these documents, listed on a single index page of their website titled "Papal Encyclicals Online".
Around the end of 1999 or the beginning of the year 2000, St. Michael's Depot went offline.
Later on in the year 2000, several of us on the Catholicsource Message forum were lamenting the loss of such a great resource as St. Michael's Depot. One of the forum participants commented that he had previously downloaded all the papal encyclicals from St. Michael's Depot for his personal use.
At my request, he e-mailed me all of those documents so that I could make them available on the web again. This was the birth of the new "Papal Encyclicals Online".
Changes to this website over time have included enhancements such as individual pages for each Pope, encyclical's English titles, an effective search engine, pictures of medieval Papal documents, and other more minor details added to help in research, for the search of individual documents, and ease of navigation.
In the year 2002, after being contacted by one of the webmasters at Petersnet (now Catholic Culture), they also gave me their approval for the use of these documents.
As far as the author of the Papal Encyclicals site .... I'm just a Catholic layman who's trying to help keep these Church documents widely available. All monetary costs for the site, such as the domain name and web server fees, have come from my own personal pocket. Donations or advertising are not accepted.

Originally advertised on Masonic Alex Jones Infowars.com, it does a remarkable job of explaining the superficial theological problems with the Novus Ordo Mass, Vatican II, and the Masonic anti-Popes, but cleverly promotes the Father, Son, Holy Spirit Masonic Trinity and the coming Jewish Jesus as the solution to these problems. It was the frustration with their lies that prompted the creation of the FatimaMovement. Research carefully.

This website’s mission is to alert innocent Catholic Faithful about the treacherous tactics of a pseudo-Catholic group which has gained tremendous influence in the "Church," known as Opus Dei or the "Work of God". The owner of the website, Mr. David Hobson, is a True Catholic who is quite familiar with Church History and Scholasticism (the Theological method of St. Thomas Aquinas). Mr. Hobson intends by presenting sound Catholic doctrine and reasoning, drawn from time-tested (immutable) Catholic teachings, practices and sources; to clearly expose for all (even currently blinded Opus Dei members) the grave errors which pervade entirely throughout this perfidious sect, and thus possibly help save souls.
